Dillon Casebeer’s family has farmed in central Alberta for generations, so it’s no surprise that Dillon has chosen to make his career out of agriculture. Growing up on a mixed farm with a cow calf operation along with wheat, barley and canola production, exposed Dillon, first hand, to the opportunities and challenges associated with farming. Dillon augmented his on-farm experience with various industry roles ranging from field research with Ag-Quest, working for Bayer in their canola foundation seed plant followed by being a Production Agronomist working directly with growers in regions throughout Alberta. Most recently, Dillon was an Area Marketing Representative with an agricultural retailer in Olds, Alberta where he was the key farmer contact, providing agronomic advice on seed, nutrition and crop protection products.
Dillon completed his Plant and Soil Science Diploma at Lethbridge College in 2011. In Dillon’s spare time he enjoys helping out back on his family farm and participating in various sporting activities such as skiing, hockey, baseball and skeet shooting. Dillon resides in Carstairs with his wife, Jamie and is the proud father of his two-year-old daughter, Brynlee.
